Logistics Operations Specialist 100% (limited 6-9 months)

Our company is further expanding by setting up a brand-new manufacturing site located in Switzerland. In order to reinforce our Logistics department in Brügg, we are currently recruiting a motivated colleague for the position as Logistics Operations Specialist 100% (limited 6-9 months) Your responsibilities Operational Support • Assist the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Director in the daily execution of logistics and warehouse activities. • Investigate operational issues, identify root causes, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. • Monitor operational performance and escalate risks or issues affecting service, quality, safety, or efficiency. • Support cross-functional collaboration between warehouse and transportation teams Process Documentation and Standardization • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process maps, and operational documentation. • Ensure procedures are clearly documented, accessible, and aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements. • Support the implementation of best practices and standardized work methods across logistics operations Training and Development • Coordinate and support onboarding and training activities for warehouse and logistics personnel. • Deliver training sessions on operational procedures, and best practices. Continuous Improvement • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction. • Support Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence projects where applicable. • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities. • Assist in implementing process enhancements and monitoring their effectiveness. Your profile • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, advance knowledge of Lean Management • Previous experience in medical device industry is preferred • German or French speaker, English a must have • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to document processes clearly and accurately • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, training and coaching capabilities • Experience with ERP, such as Oracle, SAP or similar platforms • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple organizational levels.
