We are looking for a dedicated, motivated individual as: Reservation Manager
Your profile
• Completed training in the hospitality industry and several years of professional experience in reservations and/or front office operations, ideally in the upscale hospitality sector
• In-depth knowledge of Opera Cloud and proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent written and spoken German; very good written and spoken English; additional languages such as French and/or Italian are a plus
• Strong quality awareness, a high level of service orientation, and a structured and organized approach to work
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and a good understanding of business operations and key performance indicators
• A trustworthy, responsible personality with strong negotiation skills and a professional demeanor
• Experience with the standards of The Leading Hotels of the World (LQA) and/or Swiss Deluxe Hotels is a plus and rounds out your profile
Your role
• Providing technical and managerial leadership for the reservations team and supporting the continuous professional development of employees
• Responsibility for the professional handling of reservations, quotes, and guest inquiries in compliance with LQA and company standards
• Active management and maintenance of all online booking channels, including availability, rate, and revenue management (PMS, RMS Ideas)
• Monitoring and optimizing reservation processes, including arrival checks, option management, forecasting, and the creation of pick-up reports
• Ensuring high service quality through professional handling of guest feedback and complaints, as well as monitoring outgoing correspondence
• Coordinating and monitoring relevant system and interface processes (OXI Interfaces) to ensure smooth operations
• Compliance with and enforcement of hotel-specific quality standards, LQA guidelines, and quality management (CMS) requirements
