For our location in Niederurnen, we are looking for, by arrangement, a Building Material Tester 100% (m/f/d) Building Material Tester Tasks Support in the validation and optimization of alternative building material formulations through laboratory testing, pilot production and technical evaluation of recipe performance Independent planning, execution and documentation of tests on building materials Maintenance and optimization of laboratory equipment as well as Excel-based files and databases Participation in the evaluation and introduction of new testing procedures Support in the operation of the pilot production plant, including material preparation, production runs and post-processing, with a strong practical focus Close cooperation with laboratory and technical teams to ensure reliable data generation as well as a smooth process of testing and pilot activities Requirements Completed training as a technician/building material tester or a comparable technical training with relevant practical experience in testing procedures of building materials Experience with pilot production processes is an advantage Knowledge in the field of building materials such as cement, fillers and fibers Confident handling of IT applications, especially Excel and device software Structured and independent way of working, strong technical understanding, quick comprehension, initiative and teamwork skills The activity also includes physical work and requires corresponding resilience Good communication skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing; basic knowledge of German is required.
