What you will do with us • In the interdisciplinary rehabilitation in the field of Internal Medicine (with internal and geriatric focuses), you perform the delegated nursing measures professionally and ensure the entire nursing process. • You care for and accompany moderately to heavily care-dependent patients. • You support the interdisciplinary cooperation and coordination of the services offered. You inspire us- • With your completed training as a Healthcare Specialist EFZ. • With your ability to act calmly and objectively in complex and delicate situations. • With your readiness for shift work (day and late shifts) • Because you bring readiness, joy, and interest in the care and guidance of apprentices. • Because you have already completed the SVEB or vocational trainer course or are willing to undergo further training. About us Barmelweid is the leading specialized and rehabilitation clinic in Northwest Switzerland and the largest psychosomatic clinic in Switzerland. The clinic provides inpatient care for patients in 285 beds. The clinic specializes in geriatric, internal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary rehabilitation, Long-Covid, psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy, psychocardiology, as well as sleep medicine. At Barmelweid, the Lean mindset and methods are at the center: All efforts are aligned with the patients. This includes standardized safety rounds, the patient board, and the leveling of capacity utilization on the stations using flows. Nursing in the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy is complemented by the method of primary nursing, and nursing in the Department of Internal Medicine with Care Managers. As a rule, patients stay at Barmelweid for 2 to 6 weeks. This gives our nurses time to engage deeply with the patients.
