Shift Supervisor in the Paint Shop

This is what you can move.

• As a shift supervisor, you are responsible for the technical leadership of approx. 12 employees and coordinate the activities for the shift (no night work, but late shift) with your colleagues. In doing so, you ensure compliance with deadlines, quality, and safety.
• In day-to-day operations, you work operationally with the team. You sand, blast, putty, prime, and paint our rolling stock and work with various 2K paint systems on a water and solvent basis using AirMix and conventional painting processes.
• As a shift supervisor, you are the first point of contact for questions regarding execution, quality, and safety for employees in the shift.
• Additionally, you promote and support the further development of the team through consultation with the supervisor. This requires an open feedback culture.
• You enjoy participating in projects alongside your function as a shift supervisor and you support the team leader in the recruitment of new employees.

• Your holistic entrepreneurial thinking paired with your sense for interpersonal relations makes it easier for you to coach your shift employees and to comply with deadlines, quality, and safety.
• You have completed a 4-year vocational apprenticeship as Autolackierer:in EFZ, Industrielackierer:in EFZ, or Carrosserielackierer:in EFZ. Initial leadership experience in an industrial environment is an advantage.
• You have a fluent command of the German language (at least C1) and are used to working daily with the common Microsoft Office applications.
