The Department of General Internal Medicine (DAIM) is a clinical competence center at three clinic locations in Bern (Klinik Beau-Site, Salem-Spital, Klinik Permanence) in which the entire spectrum of the discipline General Internal Medicine and interdisciplinary clinical emergency medicine is covered. The DAIM is a Category A training site for General Internal Medicine, Category IV for outpatient medicine, as well as SGNOR Category 2 for clinical emergency medicine.
