Accounting Specialist 80% to 100% (m/f/d)

Job Description ### For an established company with professional structures, we are looking for an experienced accounting specialist. In this role, you will be part of a well-coordinated finance team and report directly to the Head of Finance. The position does not include management responsibility and is aimed at an independent working personality who takes responsibility in operational financial processes. Tasks You independently manage the financial accounting for defined areas and bear responsibility for general and subsidiary ledgers. In doing so, you undertake central tasks in daily business as well as in closing work and ensure the correct and timely processing of all business transactions. Your area of responsibility includes the reconciliation of accounts, the monitoring of bank and payment flows, as well as ensuring the liquidity overview. In accounts payable, you check and post invoices, carry out payment runs, and are in contact with suppliers. At the same time, you are responsible for accounts receivable, including the posting of incoming payments, reconciliation of open items, as well as support in the dunning and collection process. Additionally, you undertake administrative tasks within the accounting department and work closely with internal interfaces. Requirements A completed basic commercial training is required for this position, supplemented by further training as a specialist in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification. Equally mandatory is several years of professional experience in accounting, especially in financial accounting. You bring sound practical experience in managing general ledgers and are used to working independently and reliably. Personally, you convince through a structured and precise way of working, quick comprehension, as well as high resilience. You think in networks, act in a solution-oriented manner, and value teamwork. Very good knowledge of MS Office is required; experience with ERP systems, ideally Abacus, is an advantage.
