Project Manager for execution (sector works director) # Technical Office | 80-100 % | Coira ## The Technical Office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of cantonal roads, as well as hydraulic works and slow mobility in the Grisons. Furthermore, we take care of the operational maintenance of national roads within the cantonal territory. The road infrastructure of the Canton includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 meters in height and tunnels up to 3 kilometers long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain Canton hides in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. For the road construction section, we are looking for 1 October 2026 or by agreement for a project manager for execution (sector works director) Tasks • Specialist responsibility for new construction, expansion, and arrangement projects assigned along the main road network throughout the Canton • Responsibility regarding the preparation of projects from a technical point of view, compliance with deadlines and costs, as well as regarding the control of compliance with quality directives • Sector works direction for projects along the main roads of the Canton • Autonomous direction of complex road and civil engineering projects in the publication and implementation phases • Coordination between design and implementation • Specialist management of local works directions • Support to the head of the main road construction section in the area of internal quality management What we expect from you • Diploma as a civil engineer (BSc, MSc level), construction entrepreneur, or equivalent training • Excellent specialist knowledge and many years of experience in the execution of road and civil engineering projects • Ability to assert oneself, communication skills, and initiative • Pleasure in interdisciplinary collaboration • Good IT knowledge (software for performance description, MS Office) • The general working language is German; knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is desired We look forward to receiving your online application and will be pleased to meet you.
