For our client, an internationally active technology company in mechanical and plant engineering, we are looking for an analytically minded personality as a Mechanical Engineer Design & Development. In this role, you will design new technical solutions and specifically develop existing systems further. You combine mechanical design with calculations, tests, and interdisciplinary cooperation to realize high-performance and reliable machine concepts.

Your task ##

• Development and design of components and customer-specific assemblies
• Creation of manufacturing, assembly, and bill of materials documentation
• Elaboration of technical concepts in close cooperation with project management, production, and assembly
• Adaptation and optimization of existing machine solutions to customer-specific requirements
• Technical support during commissioning, tests, and acceptance
• Maintenance and further development of design standards and documentation

Your profile ##

• Training as a designer or polymechanic EFZ with further training as a mechanical engineer FH
• Professional experience in mechanical or plant engineering
• Sound knowledge of CAD systems such as e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Catia etc.
• Excellent communication skills as well as open to new challenges
• Very good German and English skills, further language skills an advantage
