Design Engineer Tooling Construction

You develop and design fixtures in the field of tooling construction and take over the management of smaller projects within the specialist department.

Tasks

• Developing complex solution concepts for small, medium and large fixtures
• Performing design work in the field of tooling construction
• Creating drawings and bills of materials in the 3D-CAD and PDM system
• Carrying out change and support tasks on fixture designs
• Independent management of smaller projects within the specialist department
• Technical management and support of external service providers
• Participating in the updating of internal design manuals

Profile

• Completed training as BSc Mechanical Engineering or Technician HF Mechanical Engineering
• Professional experience in the field of tooling construction is an advantage
• Experience in aircraft construction is an advantage
• Project experience is an advantage
• Good knowledge of a 3D-CAD system
• Good German skills in speaking and writing, level B1
• English skills are an advantage
