Customer Service Employee Tax Office (80-100 %)

The Tax Office performs numerous tasks regarding the taxation of natural and legal persons within the city territory. We provide the city budget with financial resources and are available to the population and companies with our customer service.

Your tasks

• Independent and competent processing of demanding customer inquiries, requests and business cases in the area of tax liability, assessment and tax invoice, taking into account the applicable legal bases (e.g. mutation of interim invoices for natural persons)
• Professional initial consultation and provision of information to internal and external customers regarding tax issues
• Processing of complaints, reclamations and demanding customer situations
• Independent clarifications with internal and external specialist departments
• Active thinking as well as recognizing optimization and improvement potential in existing workflows and processes and active participation in the further development of customer service processes

Your profile

• Completed vocational training (EFZ, 3 to 4 years)
• Further training at the Federal Diploma of Higher Education level and profound knowledge in the tax area is an advantage
• Understanding of legal and tax law issues
• High social competence, strong customer orientation, enjoyment of customer contact and a positive view of people
• High sense of responsibility as well as willingness to perform and a reliable way of working
• Quick comprehension, decisiveness and solution-oriented thinking
• Confident and professional appearance as a representative of the Stadt Luzern
• Good digital affinity and confident handling of common IT applications
