Contract for a maximum duration of 6 months

Your mission

Under the supervision of the head of the legal department, you will advise the Presidency, the General Management, the Board of Directors, and the business areas of tpg on all legal issues that may also lead to a proposal for modifying the company's strategy, objectives, and processes. You will guarantee optimal legal compliance with current laws and regulations, as well as relevant advice aligned with the interests of the company and its leaders.

Your main responsibilities

• Provide legal advice by analyzing the needs of internal clients on all legal issues, anticipating legal objects related to the company's strategy and objectives;
• Perform legal monitoring by observing legislative, jurisprudential, doctrinal, and regulatory developments, particularly regarding transport, and informing the company of changes likely to affect it;
• Manage litigation and pre-litigation files;
• Draft and/or adapt contracts and other legal documents (in particular standard contracts and general terms and conditions), regulations, service instructions, and other documents with legal scope to the specific needs of the company, while ensuring its interests are protected;
• Conduct legal research to meet the needs of the company and strengthen its strategic position;
• Participate as a legal expert in meetings with third parties, providing solid expertise to defend and promote the interests of the company;
• Present the company's legal position in a clear and assertive manner, ensuring that all legal aspects are firmly supported;
• Participate in commissions, working groups, or councils, to provide a cross-functional legal perspective.

Your profile

• Master's degree in Swiss law, completed with a specialization/certification in Franco-Swiss transnational/cross-border law (CDT/CTLS or equivalent), comparative law, French or European law;
• Ideally at least 5 years of professional experience in a legal advisory position, with experience in French law in a law firm or in administration;
• Mastery of federal and cantonal laws applicable to the activities of tpg and corresponding case law;
• Good understanding of the political and cross-border context;
• Excellent legal drafting, synthesis, and analysis skills, skill in negotiation, rigorous mindset;
• Good IT skills;
• Sense of organization, speed, open-mindedness, and sense of teamwork;
• Strict respect for rules of confidentiality and loyalty;
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken/written, C1 level) and good knowledge of German (spoken/written, a serious asset).
