SEIC is an electricity and heat distributor in six communes of the region and its 83 employees are also active in the field of energy efficiency, electrical installations, telemetric, domotic and security solutions, and multimedia services via its participation in SA. We are looking to strengthen our network service Metering Specialist (H/F/X) Your mission You ensure the technical mastery of the metering subsystem and pilot its evolution, guaranteeing its consistency with the data acquisition systems. You analyze, design, test and validate technical solutions to ensure their reliability and operability in an interconnected system environment. As the technical referent of the metering subsystem, you design and define solutions, and intervene as an expert in the use of data acquisition and management systems, to which you contribute to the evolution in close collaboration with the architect. You actively contribute to the structuring and simplification of the technical environment. Your responsibilities Analysis & understanding of systems Understand the functioning of telecontrol and metering systems Analyze interactions between equipment, communication and systems Identify inconsistencies, limitations and areas for improvement Tests & technical validation Carry out tests and pilot projects to validate technical choices Operate and develop a test laboratory as a central tool for system validation, in order to reproduce and analyze its operation Validate end-to-end operation: counter? communication? systems Parameterization & adjustment Design technical solutions for the metering subsystem, from the counter to communication, including equipment, protocols and parameterization Define and evolve reference configurations implemented in the field by technicians Test and validate equipment, firmwares and configurations in a laboratory environment before deployment Ensure the proper functioning of the metering subsystem, ensuring the reliability of deployments on a park scale and the absence of regression Evolution & technical recommendations Ensure technical choices of components and solutions within the metering subsystem, as well as their acquisition and provision for technicians Arbitrate technical choices based on operational constraints Analyze the use of data acquisition and management systems, identify evolution needs and carry technical recommendations in close collaboration with the architect Contribute to transversal projects of the service or company, including outside the metering domain Support & structuring Establish procedures and usage guidelines Structure and document practices Train metering technicians Ensure 2nd level technical support Supplier relationships Manage the technical relationship with metering subsystem suppliers Contribute to the evaluation of solutions for data acquisition and management systems, in close collaboration with the architect Watch & technical evolution Ensure active technological monitoring of equipment, systems and components (counters, communication, protocols, software) Follow technological developments and identify their impacts and opportunities for the metering system Your profile Technical training (electricity, electronics, automation or equivalent) Experienced metering technician, or technical profile from a related field, wishing to be actively involved in understanding and mastering the overall operation of the data chain Curious, analytical and autonomous, with a rigorous approach to technical systems Ability to analyze, structure and understand complex technical systems At ease with a concrete approach: testing, verifying, analyzing before deciding Assets: Experience in interconnected technical systems, knowledge of telecontrol or data acquisition systems (HES, MDM or equivalent), experience in testing, validation or technical projects.
