Zollikofen BE (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Analyze complex databases in the GEVER environment, identify anomalies and develop solid technical decision-making bases • Systematically monitor data quality and implement appropriate cleaning, harmonization and validation measures • Develop, optimize and document SQL queries, scripts and automated analysis and control routines • Ensure the operation, monitoring and development of relational databases while guaranteeing their performance, availability and stability • Plan and test backup, restoration, recovery and restart procedures, and apply them reliably in the event of an incident • Actively participate in data migrations, incident analyses and development projects, and collaborate closely with the operation and development sectors and with external partners <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree in computer science, business informatics, data engineering, data science or equivalent training • Several years of experience in the field of databases and very good knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data models and performance analysis • Practical experience in complex data analysis, data quality management, data cleaning, migrations and ETL or ELT processes • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as PowerShell or Python • Good understanding of data backup, restoration and recovery mechanisms, monitoring, operating systems, interfaces and application architectures • Analytical mindset, strong sense of responsibility, methodological rigor, good knowledge of an official language and knowledge of English <br /> In a few words Are you not looking for a classic database administrator position or a purely data science-oriented role?
