Hotel Uzwil, a leading 4-star business hotel in the heart of eastern Switzerland, offers 43 modern rooms, an 80-seat restaurant, several small lounges for 6 to 12 people, as well as a large hall that can accommodate up to 55 people. The more than 45 Uze apartments as well as the Hotel Schäfli with its 15 elegant rooms are also part of Hotel Uzwil. It is ideally located, with the station on the IC Zurich-Saint-Gall line just a one-minute walk from the hotel.

Your tasks ###

• You lead the Accommodation, Events and Seminars sectors both in terms of personnel and operations and create an environment where your team works with pleasure, autonomy and a high level of service quality.
• As a visible and warm host, you are close to our customers, recognize their wishes and ensure that every stay and every event remains an excellent memory.
• You advise our customers with competence, develop suitable offers and plan events, seminars and banquets from the initial request to meticulous follow-up.
• You coordinate employees, internal interfaces and external partners, develop assignment and organization schedules and ensure smooth operation.
• You develop our offers and processes with new ideas while keeping quality, customer satisfaction and profitability in mind.
• In close collaboration with the Hotel & Gastronomy Manager, you implement common objectives and support the transversal development of the company.

Your profile ###

• Several years of professional and management experience in hotels, gastronomy or the events and seminars sector - complemented by solid training in one of these fields.
• You lead in a clear, appreciative and motivating manner and enjoy encouraging employees and advancing the team.
• You are a convincing host, you present yourself with confidence and approach people in an open, attentive and engaging manner.
• You possess organizational talent, commercial flair, economic thinking and a high demand for quality.
• Even during periods of high activity, you establish the right priorities, make solution-oriented decisions and maintain an overview.
• You enjoy using digital solutions with confidence, work fluently with Microsoft 365 and ideally have experience with Gastronovi and Mews.
• You are prepared to adapt your presence flexibly to accommodation and event activities.
