The role of La Comédie de Genève is to promote the scene in Suisse Romande and to present creations from major European stages. A true production tool with several workshops, dedicated to contemporary creation and in the service of artists, La Comédie de Genève offers a multidisciplinary programming promoting creation from here and elsewhere. In this context, the Technical sector is looking for a Video Stage Manager at 80% for its Video service. Missions and Responsibilities You accompany and technically ensure the receptions and creations, to guarantee the smooth running of the event, notably by participating in setups, takedowns, rehearsals and performances. You ensure the video management, the adjustments and the smooth running of the shows, especially when you have responsibility for the general management. You follow the technical sheets for receptions and creations, and participate in the preparation of show files (cues and media), as well as the archiving of media. You maintain and verify the proper functioning of the Comédie's equipment, whether rented or on loan, while participating in the annual inventory. You propose and participate in choices during equipment purchases, and manage, in collaboration with the Technical Direction, requests for quotes and order follow-up. You accompany and train assistants and those employed by the institution. Profile and Skills sought You hold a CFC as a Technician, or a title deemed equivalent or confirmed experience in the use and mastery of video technologies. You have experience in the performance environment, notably in the use of tools such as cameras, projectors and the main video management programs (Q-Lab madmappler and Millumin). Good knowledge of spoken and technical English is an asset. You know how to adapt, are solution-oriented and enjoy teamwork; hours are irregular, linked to the institution's programming. You may be required to go on tours in Switzerland and abroad.
