For an established flat roof company in the Kägiswil region in the canton of Obwalden, we are looking for an experienced flat roof installer*in. The company specializes in flat roof waterproofing with plastic and bitumen membranes as well as renovation and repair work.

You will start as part of a long-term temporary assignment. If it suits you and the host company, there is a clear possibility of permanent employment.

Job Description

As a flat roof installer*in, you will work on various construction sites in Obwalden and Central Switzerland.

Your tasks include:

• Laying and welding plastic waterproofing membranes
• Processing PVC, TPO, and other plastic membranes
• Welding and waterproofing work with bitumen membranes
• Execution of single-layer and multi-layer flat roof waterproofing
• Creating detail connections and edge finishes
• Waterproofing penetrations, roof edges, and upstands
• Carrying out repairs on existing flat roofs
• Renovation and maintenance of flat roof constructions
• Preparation and inspection of substrates
• Carrying out quality controls
• Compliance with safety regulations on the construction site
• Independent and timely execution of work

The daily start of work takes place in the Kägiswil OW region. The workload is 100 percent.

Requirement Profile

• Several years of professional experience as a flat roof installer or roofer
• Training as an Abdichter EFZ, Dachdecker EFZ, or Polybauer*in EFZ is an advantage
• Very good practical experience in the flat roof area
• Independent processing of plastic waterproofing membranes
• Experience with bitumen membranes and welding work
• Knowledge of detail connections and edge finishes
• Independent, precise, and reliable way of working
• Physical resilience and freedom from vertigo
• Enjoyment of working outdoors
• Good German skills for understanding work and safety instructions
• Team player and motivated personality
• Driving license category B mandatory
• Residence in the Obwalden region or in the nearby Central Switzerland is an advantage
