YOUR TASKS :

• Procurement of mechanical components, semi-finished products and raw materials
• Guaranteeing material availability as well as coordination and monitoring of delivery dates
• Requesting and comparing offers as well as participating in price negotiations
• Management and development of our existing suppliers
• Close collaboration with strategic purchasing on supplier, procurement and optimization topics
• Monitoring delivery performance in terms of quality, costs and deadlines
• Management of quality deviations with suppliers and internal departments
• Organization of returns and request for credit notes
• Management of material master data as well as purchasing and planning parameters in SAP
• Participation in optimization, quality and supply chain projects

YOUR PROFILE :

• Basic technical training, e.g. polymechanic, designer, production mechanic or equivalent training
• Commercial or economic training, e.g. purchasing technician or purchasing specialist
• First experience in technical purchasing or in an industrial production company desired
• Good technical understanding and interest in mechanical components and manufacturing processes
• Enjoyment of contact with suppliers and interdepartmental collaboration
• Good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English desired
• SAP and MS Office knowledge desired
• Autonomous, structured and reliable way of working as well as personal initiative
