Job Description ##

• Further development and implementation of a national warehouse strategy in a complex distribution environment
• Leadership and support of the local warehouse managers as well as promotion of a performance-oriented leadership culture
• Ensuring efficient and economical operation of several warehouse and distribution sites throughout Switzerland
• Analysis of relevant key performance indicators and implementation of targeted measures to increase productivity, quality and service levels
• Harmonization of processes, working methods and standards within the entire warehouse organization
• Promotion of cross-site exchange as well as implementation of best practices in the network
• Management of optimization and further development initiatives in the areas of warehouse management, automation and Operational Excellence
• Close cooperation with the areas of Supply Chain, Operations, IT as well as other internal and external stakeholders

The Successful Applicant ##

• Higher education in the field of logistics, Supply Chain Management, business administration or a comparable specialty
• Several years of leadership and management experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain organization
• Experience in managing several sites within a national or regional structure
• Demonstrable success in improving productivity, service quality and cost structures
• Strong understanding of KPI management, reporting and data-based decision making
• Strong leadership personality with high presence in the operational environment as well as the ability to win people over for common goals
• Experience in the further development of organizations, processes and teams in a dynamic environment
• Good knowledge of modern warehouse management systems as well as ideally automated warehouse and picking solutions
• Experience in wholesale, distribution networks or comparable logistical environments is an advantage
