The Krafft Gruppe, based in Basel, has been an operator of hotel and catering businesses in Basel since 2003. It is managed, among others, by its partners, who are active in the various companies. The roots of the group lie in the Hotel & Restaurant Krafft Basel on the banks of the Rhine; since then, the Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel, the Consum Boutique Hotel & Weinbar, the Brewpub Volta Bräu, the Silo Hostel, as well as the Volta Pong in Basel have been added.

To complement our existing maintenance team, we are looking for a:n
Maintenance Employee at approx. 80% workload as of 1 October 2026
or by arrangement. Do you only want to work 3 days a week or are you looking for a 100% position? Get in touch anyway - we are open to your workload proposal!

Your tasks:
Together with your supervisor and a second maintenance employee, you will assist with all assembly and renovation work in our 5 houses and thus ensure the smooth maintenance of our different businesses. Whether during repair work in the over 150-year-old Hotel Krafft or during the maintenance of the building technology in the modern Nomad - you work independently and always keep an eye on the big picture. You take care of daily small repairs, including repair work on walls, doors and floors. You are a doer with perseverance and passion for craftsmanship and an understanding of the hotel and catering industry.

What you bring with you:
Manual dexterity - because you have completed a corresponding training or have experience
You are organized and reliable and actively help out with all arising work
You are a team player and communicate actively and openly
You work with a quality consciousness and service orientation
You speak and understand German
Driving license category B is an advantage
