Tasks ## • As a Technical Project Manager for our railway technology projects, you develop and write complex depot and railway technology projects within the VBZ project team. • You lead the planning of the technical disciplines of electrical systems and track. • In your technical discipline, traction power supply, grounding and return conductor, or control technology for overhead line systems, you take over the project design yourself. • You are responsible for professional and high-quality planning. In doing so, you coordinate and are responsible for the project design and support the tender; mostly in cooperation with the various business areas of Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich VBZ. • As a competent contact person, you provide information, carry out technical investigations, and develop practical solution proposals for quality improvement in the interest of VBZ. • During tenders, together with our purchasing and legal departments, you request offers, evaluate them, and derive orders or works contracts from them. Profile ## • You bring several years of experience in railway technology, local transport, or depot operations. • You have supplemented your professional experience with further training as a Techniker HF in or with a degree in engineering sciences. • To acquire the necessary expert knowledge, you are looking for a long-term challenge and are motivated to deepen your knowledge in this area. • Ideally, you are well-versed in planning approval procedures and the relevant standards of railway technology (Richtlinien Technik Eisenbahn (RTE), Eisenbahnverordnung (EBV) and their implementing regulations). • You are an exact and responsible person. • We require initiative as well as motivation for technical work. • You are aware of the meaningfulness of your work for public transport.
