Logistics Specialist

Job Description

• Picking and palletizing of finished products according to orders as well as timely provision of goods.
• Preparation, processing and documentation of forwarding orders.
• Organization and provision of containers and packaging material to ensure smooth daily business.
• Processing and booking of returns in the blocked warehouse as well as coordination of further steps with quality assurance.
• Coordination of goods and material collection as well as professional handover to drivers.
• Compliance with hygiene, quality and biosecurity regulations as well as participation in the optimization of logistical processes at the new location.
• Safe operation of industrial trucks, especially side-seated and pallet jacks.

Desired Profile

• Experience in warehouse, picking or production logistics, ideally in the food industry.
• Good knowledge of logistical processes from goods receipt to shipping and returns.
• Completed vocational training (EFZ) or several years of professional experience in the logistics sector.
• Good German language skills in speaking and writing (at least B2).
• Independent, reliable and careful way of working.
• Valid forklift license for side-seated and/or pallet jacks or willingness to acquire this at short notice.
• Teamwork skills, flexibility and sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to work in a two-shift operation
