Java Developer (m/w/d)

As an experienced Java developer, you are an essential part of our team and bring your expertise to the development of innovative solutions. With your technical know-how and attention to detail, you help implement the requirements of our customers into high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications. You develop high-quality software solutions based on Java and are responsible for their design, implementation, and further development. Together with your team, you analyze requirements, create concepts, and implement them using the latest technologies. You ensure the quality of your work through tests, code reviews, and the continuous improvement of existing applications. In close collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other developers, you actively shape the agile development environment. You always keep up to date with new technologies and methods and bring innovative ideas into the projects. Development and optimization of backend solutions based on Java (Spring, Open Liberty, etc.). Design and implementation of microservices and APIs for various applications. Ensuring code quality through automated tests and Clean Code principles. Performance optimization and ensuring the scalability of our applications. Close collaboration with customers and team members to effectively implement requirements. In-depth knowledge of Java and ideally experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, or Open Liberty. Experience in developing microservices and cloud-based applications. Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies is an advantage. Enthusiasm for Clean Code, agile methods, and DevOps concepts. Teamwork, communication skills, and the willingness to take responsibility. Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written. Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., Angular, React) as a supplement. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
