Mobile Basel is committed to eight inpatient and outpatient residential offers for the social inclusion of people with mental health challenges and disabilities. The administrative office of Mobile Basel is a small team of professionals from the areas of management, personnel, finance and accounting, agogics & quality, ICT and data protection, as well as technology & real estate. Together, we support our operational sites and take on centrally organized tasks. Are accounting and the financing of a social organization exactly your thing? Then we are looking for you, from 01.12.2026 or by arrangement, as Finance Specialist 60% ## Your tasks - shaping impact with numbers ### • You take on operational responsibility for our finance and accounting. • Together with an employee (60%), you manage the financial accounting including general and subsidiary ledgers and prepare cost center accounting (BAB). • You are responsible for budgeting, controlling, as well as quarterly and annual financial statements. • You develop and establish meaningful key figures and decision-making bases for the financial, operational, and strategic management of Mobile Basel. • You prepare settlements for Mobile Basel according to the specifications of the Confederation, Canton, disability assistance, and cost bearers in social services. • You ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements for the specialist department and manage insurance matters as well as claims. • You contribute your financial expertise to internal working groups and to our professional network. Your profile - technically strong and communicative ### • You have a sound education with a degree in finance and accounting, business administration, or a comparable qualification. • You are familiar with the financing and billing systems of disability assistance as well as the services, foundations, and billing systems of IV, EL, and social assistance. • You bring several years of industry-relevant professional experience in finance and accounting, are confident in closing accounts, and are knowledgeable in budgeting and controlling - ideally supplemented by leadership or project management experience. • You like to take responsibility, roll up your sleeves, and reliably drive topics forward. • You recognize connections in numbers and data and can use them to formulate complex matters simply and present them in a visually appealing way. • You bring good digital competencies and work confidently with MS365 tools as well as ideally with Lobos or comparable applications.
