The tilia foundation for long-term care is the main provider of complex long-term care in the Bern region. Across five sites, we support people from the age of 18 who depend on care and support. Our offers include residential sectors for inpatient long-term care, specialized departments for people with dementia and respiratory diseases as well as long-term neurological and bariatric care, complemented by outpatient offers. We are looking for, immediately or by arrangement, at our tilia Elfenau site, a person full of humor

Your mission

• Personnel, technical, and organizational management of a team of approximately 25 employees as well as staffing and work planning adapted to skills
• Responsibility for professional and resident-centered care for approximately 28 residents in the residential sector
• Responsibility for staffing planning in the residential sector based on needs and skills
• Ensure and develop the quality of care and support in close collaboration with care support and care process managers
• Responsibility for the implementation of defined care processes, quality standards, and operational directives in the residential sector
• Active participation in care and support as well as regular contact with residents and their relatives
• Promotion of respectful collaboration and a positive team and leadership culture
• Active participation in change and development processes in the residential sector and at the site

Our requirements

• Completed training as a registered nurse HF/FH or equivalent training recognized in Switzerland
• Taste for long-term care as well as for personnel management and development
• Several years of management experience as well as completed management training or willingness to follow corresponding continuing education
• interRAI LTCF knowledge is an advantage or willingness to acquire this qualification
• Resident-oriented personality, responsible, solution-oriented and able to assert oneself with a strong awareness of quality
• Good communication and leadership skills as well as an understanding of economic issues
• Willingness to participate actively in changes and to assume responsibilities
