Your area of responsibility

Your challenge

As Product Owner Compliance, you will shape and drive the digital further development of our compliance functions throughout the entire bank. You form the interface between compliance, technology, and executives and translate regulatory and business requirements into clear priorities, value-adding products, and sustainable technology solutions.

You are responsible for the product vision, the roadmap, and the backlog. In doing so, you weigh regulatory requirements, business benefit, risks, dependencies, and available capacities against each other. Together with specialists, development teams, architects, and other Product Owners, you develop pragmatic solutions for complex challenges and ensure that technology creates concrete added value.

You work in a dynamic and demanding environment of a fast-growing, internationally active private bank. In doing so, you contribute to a global technology platform that supports our business in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), and other key markets. At the same time, you examine how new technologies can provide real business benefit.

Your tasks

• You are responsible for and further develop the product vision, the roadmap, and the backlog for your compliance area.
• You translate regulatory, business, and operational needs into clear requirements and desired outcomes.
• You prioritize projects based on business benefit, regulatory requirements, risks, dependencies, and available capacities.
• You work closely with interdisciplinary teams to implement requirements into effective solutions.
• You represent the product and its priorities to the business departments, the technology teams, and upper management.
• You question requirements and proposed solutions constructively and focus on solving the right problem.
• You create transparency regarding priorities, progress, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• You coordinate with other Product Owners and technology teams across business departments.
• You identify opportunities to use AI-based technologies to solve concrete business challenges.
• You continuously develop products and capabilities based on user needs, regulatory developments, and technological possibilities.

Your profile

• You have several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a comparable function in the financial services sector.
• You have a sound understanding of compliance, risk, or regulatory processes in banking.
• You are used to working closely with technology teams and translating business needs into digital solutions.
• You can prioritize convincingly and make decisions, as well as make conflicts of interest transparent.
• You maintain a confident manner with stakeholders and bring the confidence to constructively question executives.
• You are curious and understand how AI and new technologies can be used in a practical way for concrete challenges.
• You find your way in complex processes, systems, and dependencies.
• You communicate very well in English; German skills are an advantage.
• You think pragmatically, work in a partnership-oriented manner, and are results-oriented.
