The contribution you can make

• Manage assigned objects from an organizational, technical, and personnel perspective and assume responsibility for relevant processes, both in ordinary and extraordinary situations
• Guarantee, from a qualitative and quantitative point of view, the operational and intervention readiness required for special objects and systems of military and civilian leaders
• Guarantee the planning of interventions, including the organization of standby services and armed service, as well as providing training for the benefit of the troops and third parties
• Accompany construction projects in the role of manager
• Replace the head in case of their absence

What distinguishes you

• Completed technical professional training, with a further training course, for example as a Facility Management and Maintenance manager, in NDS Business Administration or equivalent training (diploma)
• Specialist with several years of management experience, ideally already with several years of experience in the maintenance sector, as well as in the realization and management of complex infrastructures
• Strong management skills and aptitude for the role of trainer; good communication skills, team spirit, determination, and a great sense of responsibility; experience in the building projects sector is welcome
• Basic training in the fire brigade/respiratory protection sector is welcome
• Availability for standby service and armed service
• Availability to perform most of the working hours during daytime hours

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructures of the Swiss Army.
