Your challenge

In this versatile role, you take responsibility for the stable and secure operation of central security infrastructures and develop them continuously. This includes in particular the Web Application Firewall (WAF), the Identity-&-Access-Management environment (IAM) as well as the internal and external firewall infrastructure. You ensure reliable operation including monitoring and backup and actively contribute to incident, problem and change management. Furthermore, you perform analyses, deal with capacity management and plan suitable measures to ensure a secure and stable IT operation. In doing so, you work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and specialists. You explore new technologies and subject areas independently and bring your newly acquired knowledge specifically into the further development of the existing security landscape.

Your qualities and talents

• Higher education in computer science (FH/HF) or a comparable training or further education in the IT environment, ideally with a focus on IT Security
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable role
• Ideally knowledge of authentication and federation procedures, for example PKI or SAML
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills
• Business fluent in German
