For our Social Affairs department, we are looking for a solution-oriented, resilient and team-capable personality as Social Worker (Workload 80 - 90 %) ## Your area of responsibility • personal and financial assistance for individuals and families according to the Social Assistance Act and SKOS guidelines • advising and accompanying people in difficult life situations • preparing applications and implementing decisions of the social authorities • administration and record-keeping (file management including KLIB) • ensuring coordination between involved actors such as social insurances, RAV, doctors, integration programs and guardians • assessing and providing social assistance according to SKOS guidelines • claiming subsidiary benefits (social insurances, employers, family support, etc.) • various administrative tasks Our expectations • you already have a completed education in social work (FHS or comparable education) or are studying to become a social worker • you have already gained initial practical experience and have good knowledge in the social insurance sector • basic commercial training is an advantage • reliable and exact work • good IT user skills (Microsoft Office, possibly KLIB) • empathy, confident appearance and good communication skills • ability to assert and set boundaries in dealing with clients We offer you • independent, challenging activity with customer contact in a future-oriented and secure environment • attractive further training opportunities • appreciative culture and a pleasant, collegial working atmosphere, family-like team • own office • possibility of home office and flexible working hours • free mineral water, coffee/tea and fruit • social events to strengthen team spirit • attractive mobile subscriptions with Swisscom and Salt Have we sparked your interest?
