Veterinary Assistant TPA Small Animal Practice St. Gallen

A small, well-coordinated practice team with modern equipment is looking for reinforcement who enjoys sharing responsibility and contributing their own ideas. In the Werdenberg region, Canton St. Gallen, we are looking for a Veterinary Assistant TPA EFZ (Tiermedizinische Praxisassistentin or Tiermedizinischer Praxisassistent EFZ) with a workload of 60 – 100 %, starting immediately or by arrangement. In a well-equipped small animal practice with digital X-ray, ultrasound including cardiac ultrasound, and its own laboratory, a varied field of tasks awaits you in a warm team – career starters and those re-entering the workforce are expressly welcome.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You assist in consultations and support the veterinarians during examinations and treatments
• You participate in digital X-ray and ultrasound examinations including cardiac ultrasound
• You collect samples and perform laboratory work in the practice's own laboratory
• You care for patients before and after procedures and ensure hygiene and sterilization
• You share responsibility within the small team and actively contribute your own ideas

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Assistant TPA EFZ or Veterinary Assistant TPA EFZ or an equivalent training
• Enjoyment of working in a small, collegial team
• Readiness to take on responsibility and contribute; career starters and those re-entering the workforce are also welcome
