The Service des parcs et domaines (SPADOM) is a major player in implementing the strategic challenges of the climate policy of the Vaud capital. It intervenes, as a leader or privileged partner, on many projects for the layout and development of major infrastructure in the city. Its mission is also to maintain and develop quality communal landscaped public spaces. In order to complete the dynamic team of the Bureau Espaces publics et paysages (BEPP), we are looking for a coordinator for large projects, particularly the development of Lausanne eco-neighborhoods. Main mission(s) ###

Lead and coordinate the technical and spatio-temporal planning aspects of public space development projects in connection with the strategic orientations of the Municipality, in particular the realization of new eco-neighborhoods and the integration of network projects into public space projects.

Direct and coordinate, as project manager, the construction operations of public spaces as well as external contractors

Participate in the analysis of communication needs related to the project execution phase in collaboration with stakeholders

Ensure the quality of the landscape, biodiversity and public spaces within the framework of projects in the planning phase, while ensuring compliance with legal provisions

Participate in multidisciplinary study groups and represent the service in various inter-departmental steering groups

Profile ###

Master's degree in civil engineering, architecture or landscape architecture or training deemed equivalent

Additional training in public space development and project management

Minimum 8 years of professional experience in design and management of public space development projects in urban environments

Experience and expertise in construction site supervision

Mastery of professional laws, standards and regulations

Knowledge of urban development and municipal policies in this matter
