Chef de Service

To complete our team, we are looking for a:

Chef de Service

Tasks:

• Welcoming guests, ensuring polite and professional service;
• Coordination of the dining room service during work shifts;
• Taking orders and supervising the correct execution of the service;
• Management of the cash register and opening and closing operations;
• Organization, coordination and supervision of the dining room staff;
• Collaboration with the kitchen to ensure efficient and high-quality service;
• Management of requests and any customer complaints, ensuring high standards of satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Service or in a similar responsible role in the catering or hotel sector;
• Excellent organizational, leadership and staff management skills;
• Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards;
• Good knowledge of the Italian language;
• Good knowledge of the German language (indispensable requirement);
• Good knowledge of the English language and knowledge of French constitutes a preferential qualification;
• Availability to work in shifts, including Sundays and public holidays;
• Owner of a car or able to reach the workplace by public transport in compatibility with the service hours.

Conditions of employment:

• Place of work: Locarno (Piazza Grande)
• Degree of occupation: 100%;
• Permanent contract;
• Start of service: immediately;
• Activity performed in shifts, with lunch and dinner service;
• Remuneration and conditions of employment in accordance with the CCNL HotellerieSuisse / L-GAV.
