Tasks ##

• Security monitoring & troubleshooting in the areas of XDR, SIEM, NAC and NDR, including maintenance and troubleshooting
• Basic digital forensics & incident response, including coordination with the SOC
• Continuous development of vulnerability management as well as the monitoring and implementation of security measures in collaboration with local teams
• Maintenance and continuous development of the ISMS
• Ensuring compliance with the ISO 27001 standard and minimum ICT standards, including performing maturity analyses, controls and gap assessments
• Participation in the design and development of the security strategy and architecture across the network, the cloud (M365/Azure) and endpoints
• Performing security configuration controls and continuous development of our security solutions, including MS Defender, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Azure and M365
• Performing risk analyses, continuous risk monitoring as well as appropriate reporting to various levels of internal and external stakeholders

Profile ##

• Completed training in the field of computer science (HF/FH) with a specialization in IT/Cybersecurity or comparable continuing education or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, AZ-500, SC-100)
• Several years of professional experience in an operational cybersecurity role
• Deep practical knowledge in the following areas:
• SIEM/XDR/NDR/NAC
• Vulnerability management
• IAM/PAM
• AD/DNS/DHCP/CS
• Security architecture
• Good knowledge of security standards and frameworks, in particular ISO 27001 and minimum ICT standard
• Experience collaborating with external security service providers (SOC, MSSP) is an advantage
• Analytical, structured and autonomous working method as well as great personal initiative and sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills as well as very good knowledge of German and English; knowledge of French is an asset, availability for on-call services

As a senior security engineer, you assume operational responsibility for central and recurring security tasks and develop critical knowledge as well as actionable skills within the Suva clinics.

You will benefit from a newly created and responsible specialized position with a direct influence on the cyber-resilience of the Suva clinics. You will move between daily operations, strategic initiatives and collaboration with specialized external partners. At the same time, you will have the freedom of action to develop internal security skills and evolve our ISMS.
