To strengthen our Assembly team at the Zürich-Flughafen location, we are looking for, immediately or by arrangement, a

Shift Team Leader / Supervisor Assembly 100 % (m/f/d)

What you will do:

• Ensures that all tasks are executed efficiently, on time, and according to the agreed goals, specifications, and budget
• Ensures a positive and productive working environment and promotes good cooperation within the team
• Monitors the performance of employees during the shift and intervenes early in case of deviations
• Resolves conflicts independently or escalates them if necessary and implements appropriate corrective measures
• Communicates clearly, motivates, and supports employees in their development
• Participates in operational meetings and ensures the flow of information within the team
• Ensures compliance with hygiene, health, safety, and food safety regulations
• Supports continuous improvements (CI) as well as the internal Operational Excellence program (gateOPEX)
• Ensures the correct application of processes, systems, and workflows
• Guarantees the quality of products and services and ensures customer requirements are met

How you will succeed:

• Completed vocational training, ideally as a logistics specialist or in the food sector
• 3–5 years of professional experience in a fast-paced working environment
• Leadership experience is an advantage, ideally in leading a team of 20–40 employees
• Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety is an advantage
• Experience in project and process management is an advantage
• Motivating, authentic, and assertive leadership personality with networked thinking
• Good decision-making, communication, and organizational skills
• Good IT skills, especially MS Office and SACS
• Very good German skills as well as good oral English skills
• Willingness to work irregular hours, shifts, and weekends (05:00–23:00)
