Our client is an established, dynamic and owner-managed communications agency in the heart of Basel. The young team develops creative solutions that inspire people throughout Switzerland. For the further expansion of the IT team, we are looking for a proactive, pragmatic and technically skilled person as a Workplace Manager with project management tasks (a) on behalf of our client. Tasks: • Further development of the system landscape (primarily macOS clients, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and in-house servers) according to current and future requirements • Ensuring stable IT operations, including supporting the support team with more complex issues • Successful initiation and management of IT projects in the areas of IT governance, digitization and process optimization • Coordination with external service providers • Management of the internal IT board and recording and prioritization of the resulting inputs, suggestions for improvement and needs from the organization • Observing new trends, such as in the area of AI or automation • Reporting to management on strategic IT topics and tasks In addition to the tasks mentioned above, you will also take on the technical and personal leadership of an established 1st-level support team with two employees. Requirements: • Several years of experience in an operational IT function, preferably with initial project and/or leadership experience • In-depth knowledge of supporting macOS, MS 365, SharePoint, servers and networks (WLAN, peripherals) • Enthusiasm for forward-looking topics such as AI, automation or digital tools • Independent, service-oriented personality with a pronounced solution orientation and a can-do mentality • Experience in an agency environment or in dealing with creative software including AI is an advantage • Very good (Swiss) German language skills Our client offers you much more than a free fruit basket.
