General Project Manager Lead - Neuchâtel-La Chaux-de-Fonds direct line

What you can make happen.

• You join a growing team and support the program director in achieving ambitious objectives regarding quality, costs, and deadlines while ensuring safety.
• On a daily basis, you maintain an overview of the project but also manage structures and technical lots (tunnel, track, catenary, ETCS signaling, etc.) while ensuring that nuisances for customers and local residents are limited.
• In charge of the coordination and management of consultants and internal specialists, you ensure the quality of deliverables and compliance with deadlines.
• You prepare and structure the technical files required for the granting of building permits, ensuring their regulatory and administrative compliance.
• You define the procurement strategy and conduct large-scale tenders according to the law on public procurement (LMP/OMP).
• You identify and propose pragmatic and feasible solutions, compatible with the deadlines and the budget.

What you bring.

• Driven by a keen sense of responsibility and a solid team spirit, you make thoughtful and factual decisions.
• You also demonstrate excellent coordination and communication skills with various stakeholders.
• Thanks to your background, you have acquired experience in stakeholder management in multi-actor environments. You thus have a good ability to align divergent interests.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in managing complex projects; experience in the railway sector and/or in underground structures (tunnel) would be a significant asset.
• You hold a higher education degree, university or HES/EPF, in a technical field (e.g., civil engineering) or an equivalent training.
• You are proficient in French (minimum level C1); an intermediate level in German (from B1) represents an advantage.
