Your contribution

• Perform diagnostics, repairs and adjustments of engines, transmission groups, brakes, steering, chassis, overall subgroups and electronics in the area of safety and comfort
• Examine and repair defects as well as carry out repairs on out-of-use vehicles
• Perform overhauls and replacements of individual components
• Provide technical support during the collection and return of material regarding driving safety, accident prevention, maintenance and cleaning as well as vehicle inventory within your area
• Record fault reports and spare parts in the SAP system
• Assistance to apprentices

What distinguishes you

• Professional training as an automotive mechatronics technician EBA/EFZ with a focus on utility vehicles or a similar profession
• Driving license category B (driving licenses for categories C and CE and forklift license recognized by SUVA)
• Ability to work independently and quickly as well as good organizational skills
• Strong sense of service in contact and consultation with customers, for example with the troops
• Mutual support within the team is important to us

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is available to the troops. It provides all logistic services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
