Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees are committed every day to the well-being of our patients. ### Your main tasks Your primary responsibility lies in the care of inpatient patients in the areas of gastroenterology and hepatology or nephrology. You will be trained in the care of patients with chronic and acute diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, the liver, the pancreas, and the biliary tract, as well as chronic and acute kidney diseases. In addition, you will learn the care of patients after complex endoscopic procedures and with gastrointestinal bleeding. This spectrum also includes dialysis patients as well as patients who are being prepared for a kidney or liver transplant, are on the waiting list, or have already received an organ. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to perform sonographies on inpatient patients as well as to learn ascites and pleural punctures as well as kidney biopsies. You will participate in rounds with our senior physicians, create reports, and participate in interdisciplinary X-ray discussions as well as tumor boards. The wards are cared for in a three-shift system. Your profile You are highly motivated and place great value on respectful interaction with patients and colleagues. This position is particularly suitable for colleagues with at least 2 years of professional experience in inpatient internal medicine at an AIM training center of category B or higher. Recognition by MEBEKO is required for candidates with a foreign medical diploma. German language skills at the C1 level are required. Candidates with later interest in further training in gastroenterology or nephrology are very welcome.
