Your tasks Depending on experience and specialization, you will take on, among others, the following tasks: Planning, design, and implementation of demanding Huawei Datacenter Virtualization Solutions (DCS), H3C CAS, and private cloud infrastructures Architecture, migration, and modernization of existing VMware environments Consulting our enterprise customers in the areas of server, storage, and virtualization technologies Implementation and operation of VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) as well as Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, Proxmox VE, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, Oracle VM, and Citrix Hypervisor Analysis and troubleshooting of complex virtualization, storage, and network environments Development of technical concepts, migration strategies, and operating models Conducting Proof of Concepts (PoCs), workshops, as well as technical consulting for our partners and customers Supporting our sales teams with presales and architecture projects More than VMware – Open to new technologies We are looking for personalities who do not only want to operate existing virtualization environments. Our customers and partners are increasingly involved in transformation and modernization projects. Therefore, we expect from you the willingness to work intensively with Huawei Datacenter Virtualization Solution (DCS) as well as H3C CAS and to actively accompany migrations from VMware to these modern virtualization platforms. You enjoy getting to know new technologies, developing innovative solution approaches, and supporting our customers and partners in their strategic further development. Your profile Several years of practical experience as a VMware System Engineer or Consultant Successful project experience in the enterprise environment Ideally at least 30 years old and correspondingly experienced in dealing with complex customer projects Completed training or studies in the field of computer science, systems engineering, or a comparable qualification Very good knowledge of VMware products such as vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX, or VMware Cloud Foundation Sound know-how in server and storage infrastructures Network knowledge (TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs) is an advantage Interest in modern data center technologies and automation.
