Construction Consultant

The employer is looking for a:

Internal carpentry and tinsmithing consultant with responsibility for purchasing building materials (noted profession)

Tasks:

• customer management: technical-commercial support, preparation of orders and offers, product consulting.
• operational collaboration and structured support for external sales consultants: acting as an internal contact person who guarantees continuity, preparation, and coverage in commercial activities, ensuring smooth and punctual processes.
• understanding of technical documentation: reading and interpreting plans, schemes, and diagrams according to industry regulations and standards.
• purchasing responsibility: planning and managing procurement, stock monitoring, defining requirements.
• negotiation with suppliers: negotiations on prices, conditions, quality, and delivery terms; evaluation and development of suppliers.
• internal sales development: promotion of the carpentry/tinsmithing assortment and identification of commercial opportunities.
• internal coordination: collaboration with logistics, warehouse, and external sales.
• document management: updating price lists, item master data, contracts, and commercial conditions.

Requirements:

• at least 2 years of experience in the carpentry and tinsmithing sector (building materials is a plus)
• excellent knowledge of the Ticino territory
• result orientation and a strong sense of responsibility
• excellent communication skills and professional behavior
• proactive, organized, precise, and reliable person
• proficiency in the Office package
• knowledge of customers in the sector (preferable)
• attitude to act as an operational balance point between internal activities and external commercial dynamics
