As a Design Engineer, you combine development, industrialization, and quality. You ensure that assemblies and individual parts are unambiguously described functionally, designed robustly, and documented cleanly. You work in a technically oriented, interdisciplinary environment with short professional paths and the highest demands for precision.
Tasks
You check and optimize assemblies and individual parts regarding function, tolerances, and manufacturability.
You create and evaluate geometric product specifications as well as technical product documentation according to current standards.
You perform tolerance calculations and analyze cause chains, interfaces, and functional dependencies.
You release drawings and technical specifications regarding tolerance concepts, design quality, and standard compliance.
You advise development and quality on questions regarding drawing standards, tolerance management, and unambiguous specification.
You support root cause analyses, corrective measures, initial samples, and technical deviation management.
You improve methods and standards for robust designs and efficient industrialization.
Skills
Completed basic technical training as a designer or in a comparable profession.
Several years of experience with 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and systematic tolerance management.
Very good knowledge of geometric product specification and current drawing standards.
Confident handling of CAD and PLM systems; ERP knowledge is an advantage.
Knowledge of quality assurance methods and structured root cause analyses is an advantage.
Analytical thinking, high accuracy, and a clear view of functional relationships.
Strong communication skills at technical interfaces and reliable cooperation with various specialist departments.
German at level C1; English at level B2 is an advantage.
Willingness to undergo a role-related security check, if required for the task.
Higher technical education HF or a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical field may fit well
