Administrative Clerk in the Counter & Reception Area The Office for Debt Collection and Bankruptcy of the Canton of Thurgau, with its five district debt collection offices and the bankruptcy office, is a central service provider within the cantonal administration. Around 100 employees, apprentices, as well as interns are active in two specialist departments. The Debt Collection Office District Kreuzlingen is responsible for conducting all debt collection proceedings according to the provisions of the Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) within the District of Kreuzlingen. To support our administration team, we are looking for a service-oriented personality in job-sharing as an Administrative Clerk in the Counter & Reception Area starting 1. September 2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks After careful induction, you will independently take on diverse tasks at the counter and reception as well as in administration. You are in regular contact – personally, by telephone and in writing – with debtors, creditors, employers, authorities and other stakeholders. Your profile You have completed commercial or equivalent training and ideally already have experience in the counter and reception area. Knowledge of debt collection law is an advantage or you are willing to undergo corresponding further training. You work independently, precisely and efficiently and maintain an overview even in demanding situations. Dealing with people in difficult life situations is easy for you thanks to your communication strength and your empathy. At the same time, you appear assertive, possess assertiveness and act discreetly and responsibly at all times. A driving license of category B is required.
