Your tasks

• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you treat and accompany patients in the outpatient setting and actively participate in individual and holistic treatment.
• Following a thorough induction, you will carry out psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments as well as treatments under senior physician supervision and will gradually take on responsibility in daily clinical practice.
• Individual therapy planning, careful documentation of the treatment progress, as well as the preparation of medical reports and expert opinions are part of your versatile and responsible area of responsibility.
• In interdisciplinary case discussions, you actively contribute your professional expertise and, if interested, have the opportunity to participate in specific group offerings.
• Close and solution-oriented cooperation with referring agencies, relatives, and authorities is an important part of your activity and contributes to well-coordinated treatment.
• With your professional competence and your ideas, you actively participate in the further development of Psychiatrie St.Gallen and help shape the future direction of the offering.

Your profile

• You have a completed degree in human medicine (CH, EU, or EFTA state) and, in the case of a foreign degree, already possess the required MEBEKO recognition.
• Professional experience in inpatient psychiatry and a training program already begun toward becoming a specialist physician, as well as psychotherapeutic training, form a good basis for this activity.
• Joy in working with mentally ill people as well as in collaborating in a multi-professional team characterize your way of working.
• An open, appreciative, and communicative approach with patients as well as colleagues is among your strengths, as is a high degree of social competence.
• Flexibility, resilience, and commitment enable you to act reliably and professionally even in demanding situations.
• Creativity, initiative, and very good German language skills in speaking and writing at at least level C1 round off your profile.
