Introduction

For our client in the Basel area, we are looking for a committed and creative Designer (m/f/d) 100 % immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• Design and development of components, assemblies, and technical systems
• Creation of 3D models as well as technical drawings using CAD systems
• Preparation and maintenance of manufacturing, assembly, and detail drawings
• Creation and management of bills of materials as well as technical documentation
• Close cooperation with production, project management, and engineering
• Support in the optimization of existing designs and products
• Technical feasibility studies and implementation of customer requirements
• Accompanying prototypes as well as support during the introduction of new products
• Ensuring compliance with quality, deadline, and cost specifications

Profile

• Completed training as Konstrukteur EFZ or comparable technical training
• Professional experience in design and product development is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of one or more CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, Creo or AutoCAD)
• Technical understanding as well as experience in mechanical, plant, or apparatus engineering is an advantage
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Ability to work in a team as well as strong communication skills
• Good German skills in spoken and written; English skills are an advantage
