Chief Site Manager Railway Infrastructure

Responsibility for the site management of complex large-scale projects in railway infrastructure construction during the implementation phase, including the leadership of an interdisciplinary site management team on-site.

Tasks

• Leadership of an interdisciplinary site management team on a large construction site in railway infrastructure
• Overall coordination and organization of all construction activities on-site
• Responsibility for cost calculation and scheduling, including monitoring of processes
• Planning and coordination of personnel deployment with partial or full personnel responsibility
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
• Close cooperation with railway operators, authorities, and executing companies

Profile

• Basic training as a civil engineer (FH/ETH), federal diploma site manager, technician HF construction planning, or federal diploma construction manager
• Several years of professional experience as a Chief Site Manager on large-scale railway projects or comparable infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in the leadership and coordination of complex construction projects
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and BauAD
• Experience with CDE platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint is an advantage
