Requirements Professional experience in horticulture or garden maintenance is an advantage Good physical resilience and enjoyment of working outdoors Manual dexterity Reliable, independent and careful way of working Teamwork skills and commitment Driver's license Cat. B is an advantage Good German language skills are an advantage Tasks General horticulture and garden maintenance work Mowing, scarifying and caring for lawns Trimming hedges, shrubs and smaller trees Planting, setting and caring for flowers, perennials and shrubs Weeding and general green area maintenance Earthworks as well as digging and filling Laying of slabs and paving stones Creating paths, squares and smaller walls Assistance with new installations and redesigns Operation of machines and equipment such as lawnmowers, brushcutters and hedge trimmers Tidying and cleaning work Knowledge Basic knowledge of plant and material science Confident handling of garden tools and machines Knowledge of garden maintenance and green area maintenance Experience with paving, slab and landscaping work is an advantage Knowledge of professional planting and pruning Understanding of occupational safety and correct handling of machines Ability to implement work instructions independently Location of deployment Central Switzerland
