The Militärkantine has been a hotel and restaurant at Kreuzbleichepark in St. Gallen for twelve years. Our 21 individual hotel rooms are booked by business travelers, holiday guests, and groups. Personal contact with our guests is important to us from check-in to check-out.
Our restaurant with a large garden is a meeting point for people who appreciate good food, personal service, and lived sustainability.
In our halls, people celebrate, dance, eat, and work. As a cultural and social house, the Militärkantine is known throughout the region. Our doors are open 365 days a year.

We manage our accounting internally. For this, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, an

Accountant 30 - 40%

Your tasks:

• Accounts receivable management including dunning processes and monitoring of incoming payments
• Management of accounts payable and financial accounting
• Preparation and execution of payment transactions
• Settlement of cash and card turnover
• Creation of monthly evaluations
• Liquidity planning, controlling and reporting
• Creation of VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements

What you bring with you:

• Commercial basic training with further training as a clerk in accounting or a comparable education
• Professional experience in financial accounting
• Experience in the hotel or gastronomy industry is an advantage
• Good Excel skills
• Experience with the accounting program Banana is an advantage
• Independent, reliable and precise way of working
