• 26 August 2026 • 80 - 100% • Indefinite duration • German (Intermediate), French (Fluent) • Speichergasse 6, 3001 Berne • Log in to see the jobup.ch salary estimate The Conférence des directeurs cantonaux de l-agriculture (CDCA) promotes collaboration between the cantons as well as between the cantons and the Confederation, mainly in the areas of agricultural policy, support for productive peasant agriculture, and the preservation of arable land. The CDCA participates in the formation of opinions and aims to develop common positions. For concerns likely to gather a majority, it ensures, through its bodies, an effective representation of interests at the federal level and with other intercantonal conferences. This work is coordinated and carried out by the Secrétariat général of the CDCA, located at the Maison des cantons, Speichergasse 6, in Berne. To support this exciting and demanding activity, we are looking for, starting from 1 July 2027 or by agreement, a person for the position of Secretary General. Your main missions ## • Strategic and operational implementation of the Conference's objectives • Direction of the Secrétariat général • Collaboration with the bodies of the Conference and partners from different political fields, • Extensive contacts with political leaders, cantonal and federal bodies, administrations, associations, and other institutions, • Preparation of basic documents, memos, and position papers. Your profile ## • University degree (master's) or other higher education • Several years of professional experience, preferably in public administration / agricultural service • Marked interest in agricultural policy issues and themes related to agriculture, with the willingness to invest in them • Reliable, loyal personality with initiative • Excellent writing skills and team spirit • Strong interpersonal skills, developed social skills, mastery of modern leadership and management methods, and good knowledge of business management • Excellent command of one national language and very good knowledge of a second What we offer you: A stimulating activity, located only three minutes from the main station of Berne.
