YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• You bear overall responsibility for production (70 employees) at the Frauenfeld location -- from modernization projects to repairs and overhauls of rail vehicles
• With clear decisions and high presence, you successfully lead managers and teams through daily production operations
• You ensure that our vehicles are handed over to our customers in the required quality, on time, and economically
• You continuously develop processes, workflows, and resource utilization, thus creating the foundation for sustainable success
• Based on key figures, you identify potential for improvement and consistently implement optimizations
• Together with internal and external partners, you ensure a smooth process along the entire value chain and report directly to the Head of Stadler Service Switzerland
• Occupational safety, quality, and environmental standards always have the highest priority for you

In short: You take on overall responsibility for production in Frauenfeld and, together with your team, ensure efficient processes, highest quality, and sustainable success.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Higher technical education (FH, HF, or university) in the field of mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership and production experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the rail vehicle industry
• Sound experience in controlling complex production processes as well as in leading managers and teams
• Confident handling of modern production methods such as Lean Management, KVP, or Operational Excellence
• Strong understanding of business relationships as well as budget and resource planning
• Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and decisive personality with high implementation strength
• Proficient German skills as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form
• Personally, you convince through your hands-on mentality, your desire to shape, and your ability to inspire people for common goals

The competence center for service services in Frauenfeld offers comprehensive overhauls, repairs, and modernizations. For their successful implementation, various departments such as production, project management, engineering, and logistics work closely and successfully together.
Furthermore, Frauenfeld is the home of our central functions of the Service Division and acts as a hub where know-how is bundled and innovations in the service sector are driven forward.
