Your tasks

• Independent performance of optometrical pre-examinations for Excimer treatments, phakic intraocular lens implants, and cataract/CLE operations
• Information and counseling of patients according to the latest state of knowledge in the field of special lenses (IOL/MIOL/ICL) and Excimer treatments
• Further development of the Co-Payment and special lenses area within the Vista Gruppe as well as optimization of processes in the field of biometry
• Overall technical responsibility for IOL and optometry as well as central contact person for employees and external partners such as referring doctors, manufacturers, and suppliers
• Conception and implementation of training including speaker activities for medical and non-medical employees in the areas of IOL and biometry with a focus on competent patient counseling
• Testing and evaluation of new products in the field of special lenses
• Travel activities in German-speaking Switzerland in the amount of 40-60%

What you bring with you

• Higher professional education in ophthalmic optics or optometry
• Sound knowledge in optometry, physical and medical optics, as well as in-depth specialist knowledge in the field of special lenses / Premium-IOL
• Pronounced competence in patient-oriented and needs-based counseling as well as experience in communicating complex medical content
• Experience in the conception and implementation of training and advisory training as well as joy in the empowerment and further development of employees
• Strong-communication, empathetic, and persuasive personality with high initiative, sense of responsibility, and confident appearance
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills; Italian is an advantage
